For Sale

• Elliptical chain rings.  These are brand new Rotor Q-rings, the Aero set with the solid outer chain ring.  Elliptical chain rings are designed to give you more power in the down stroke.  Used by multiple world champions.  Full details on the Rotor website.  These are Shimano compatible (130 BCD) with a 54 tooth outer ring and 42 tooth inner.  MSRP is US$298, plus taxes, shipping, etc. etc.  I'm asking $250 for the set. Brand new, in the box, never even installed. 

• Cervelo Prodigy road bike. Size 54cm (I'm 5' 10").  Rides like a dream.  Upgrades include Dura Ace drive train, carbon fork, carbon seatpost and better tires. Spinergy wheels.  Bike was never sold with Dura Ace, it was only an Ultegra set-up, so this is a rare find.  Circa 2001, but not ridden in over 3 years or more.  It's been stored lovingly in my basement. • Specialized Allez for sale $500. 54.5cm top tube; it's a bit big for me (5 ft 7) as I ride it with a 8cm stem, I have a 12cm stem which would make the bike fit someone around 5 ft 10.  Aluminum frame, carbon fork.  The bike includes: Shimano Ultegra 9 speed group set, Shimano wheels and Continental GP4000 tires (lots of rubber left).  Thompson straight seatpost is an upgrade that works well for triathletes.  The bike is in great working condition. No pedals or aerobar.

• Zipp 606 tubular wheelset. Back rim is a dimpled 2006 Zipp 808 and the front is a non-dimpled 2005 Zipp 404. Both wheels come with tires already glued on. Front tire is a virtually new Specialized Mondo. Rear tire is a Vittoria Corsa Evo Kevlar with lots of life. Both wheels are true and in great shape. Wheels were looked over at Gears bike shop on Lakeshore this spring. Used in 3 races. (2 sprint, 1 olympic) I will also include a virtually brand new set (4 total) of Swiss Stop Flash brake pads made especially for carbon fiber rims. This is a very desirable combination of Zipp wheels. Many triathletes use this set up for the best performance. Asking $1400 or a reasonable offer.  A set like this retails at well over $2000 just for the rims.

The wheel is still very fast and true. Breaking is affected, but not to badly. I have raced this wheel a few times with no problems at all. New Tufo tubular on it which has never been ridden. Great second wheel if you don't want to risk your $2000 wheelset.
